At the halfway point between the spring equinox and the summer solstice, we celebrate the fire and fertility festival, Beltane. Beltane is all about new life, fire, passion, and rebirth, and it emphasizes the union between heaven and earth, God and the Goddess, and man and woman. Together with Samhain (All Hallows Eve), Beltane is considered one of the two “spirit nights” of the year - where the veil between the worlds is at its thinnest.
 
Beltane roughly translates into “bright fire,” and as such, making a bonfire or fire ceremony is one of the most important rituals of Beltane.
 
However, whether you create a roaring bonfire or simply light a candle in honor of the Goddess and the God - big or small - a fire ceremony cleanses, purifies, and heals. It is also the perfect ritual to transition from one season to the next.🌱🔥

As we circle together, we will use song, meditation, mantra, mudra, and pranayama to connect with our own element of fire and the Manipura chakra – our fire chakra! We will open our hearts by drinking the heart-opening cacao, dancing, singing, and journaling. We will top it off with our very own fire ritual to transform our intentions into actions.
