This class brings out the essences of what Pilates work uncovers. With intention and embodied awareness we engage the muscles that support and carry our bodies - opening for an expanded thinking of what building strength, mobility and balance can mean in inhabiting the whole self. Focusing particularly from the deep abdominals, pelvic floor and backs we attend to restore and maintain everyday functional movement and posture, and as well seeing the tactile connection and impact between the core and our organs, such as for example the digestive system.
