Kate is a certified yoga teacher (RYT200) within Vinyasa, Restorative and Yin.

Kate discovered yoga in 2009 after a physical injury led her to the practice. While the healing began with the physical body, the impact on the emotional and spiritual body made the practice stick. 

Kate’s practice is often on the road, as she is also an entrepreneur outside of her yoga teaching life. She incorporates her yoga practice in her hotel room, but also by trying new teachers and practices in every city she visits. Kate also runs a well-known wellness and natural beauty blog that focuses on non-toxic living, healthy recipes and yoga, called Living Pretty, Naturally.

My morning routine: Herbal tea and meditation. Grounding down before the day ahead is the best way I find balance.


The world needs more of: Understanding and kindness.


I believe in: The universe being on our side.


Love is: Our essence


I can't get enough of: Avocados, ocean walks, green beauty products, adventurous vacations, gardening, raw food creations, journaling, naps and reading time.


Yoga is: The place of balance, wisdom and peace. As the Bhagavad Gita says: Yoga is the journey of the self, through the self, to the self.


My mantra: Always say “yes,” until intuition says “no.”
