Join us at Leela for a day retreat dedicated to exploring creativity and playfulness through yoga and clay. No previous experience required! All you need is your body, mind and hands. Autumn is a beautiful season for slowing down. The darker days can be an opportunity to look back at what we have been nurturing the past year. It’s also the perfect time to remind ourselves that in a society constantly busy, we are allowed to take a break, and remember to play. About the day We will start off the day with a vinyasa yoga flow, waking up the body and the mind with a practice centered around awakening our creative self. After lunch, we’ll explore different hand-building pottery techniques, each offering a unique tactile experience. We’ll also get to experiment with underglaze motifs, imprints and colours. Your favorite piece will be ready for collection after the event, once it’s been fired and glazed for you. We will close the day with a grounding yoga nidra. Extra info - A delicious healthy lunch will be included, with options for dietary requirements. - Refreshments will be provided throughout the day. - We recommend that you wear clothes that are suitable for yoga, as well as bringing an apron for the clay workshop if you have one.
