Course: Prenatal Yoga
Becoming a parent is one of the greatest transitions we experience in life—whether it is the first, second, or third time. In this course, alongside yoga, you will learn valuable tools to navigate the significant changes on your journey to motherhood.
This course is suitable for those who wish to keep their bodies strong, flexible, and active during pregnancy. It includes a balance of flow sequences, breathing exercises, as well as strengthening and relaxing positions. We also focus on bonding with the baby in the womb, preparing for childbirth and life as a mom. Each week explores a new theme, moving into a gentle flow adaptable to each individual's pregnancy. There will be time for questions and reflections before and after the session, and every class will end with a long relaxation and meditation. The course provides a safe yoga practice for pregnant women, accommodating the changes in both body and mind throughout pregnancy. Adjustments and alternatives will be offered.
The course is suitable for pregnant women in the second trimester up to the due date. You don't need prior yoga experience to join, and you are welcome exactly as you are!

Silje is an experienced yoga teacher certified in vinyasa, yin, breathwork, ayurveda, prenatal yoga, and postnatal yoga. Additionally, she holds a Masters degree in social anthropology and is a certified ayurvedic postpartum doula. In her classes, Silje strives to create a safe atmosphere and communicate yoga as a tool both on and off the yoga mat. With two children of her own, she found joy in yoga and adapting the practice throughout pregnancy, childbirth, and the postpartum period. Silje is passionate about supporting women in the transition to the new life as mothers.
